PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact gyroscope for detecting an inclination angle precisely. SOLUTION: In an inclinometer 100, where a three-axis rate gyro is used only for measuring an angular velocity, and a spherical body 1 is supported by strain resistance wires W1-W8 without integrating the angular velocity for roll and pitch angles, the inclination is obtained by calculation on the basis of a change (resistance change) in the support load of the strain resistance wires W1-W8 according to the roll and pitch angles.
