CORYNEBACTERIUM GLUTAMICUM ENHANCED EXPRESSION OF MOAA GENE ENCODING MOLYBDENUM COFACTOR BIOSYNTHESIS ENZYME A AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-LYSINE USING THE SAME

A novel Corynebacterium sp. microorganism is provided to show improved L-lysine production capability by enhancing the expression of a moaA gene encoding molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis enzyme A. A method for producing L-lysine using the same is provided to have increased productivity through fermentation compared with a conventional method. A Corynebacterium sp. microorganism is characterized in that it has increased molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis enzyme A activity by being transformed by an expression vector including a moaA gene encoding molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis enzyme A of SEQ ID : NO. 1, thereby having improved L-lysine production capability. The Corynebacterium sp. microorganism is Corynebacterium glutamicum CA01-015 with a deposition no. KCCM-10802P. A method for producing L-lysine comprises a step of fermentation-culturing the microorganism or a fermented solution thereof.
