PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster with a seismic isolation function.SOLUTION: A nut 6a is mounted only in a screw section of an axle 3 in a state that a collar 7 is removed from the axle 3 and the axle 3 is moved until the nut 6a abuts on wheels 2a and 2b, and then the collar 7 is mounted on the axle 3 and the nut 6b is mounted in the screw section. Accordingly, a first sliding surface having a small coefficient of friction of the axle 3 comes into sliding contact with an inner peripheral surface of a bearing bush 21, rotational torque of the wheel 2 becomes small and the movement of the axle 3 is regulated by the collar 7. The nut 6b is mounted only in the screw section of the axle 3 in a state that the collar 7 is removed from the axle 3 and the axle 3 is moved until the nut 6b abuts on the wheels 2a and 2b, and then the collar 7 is mounted on the axle 3 and the nut 6a is mounted in the screw section. Accordingly, a second sliding surface having a large coefficient of friction of the axle 3 comes into sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the bearing bush 21, the rotational torque of the axle 2 becomes large and the movement of the axle is regulated by the collar 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
