PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music performance device using software sound sources that can smoothly change the key without having to interrupt performance.SOLUTION: A music performance device executes waveform read processing by which commands in performance information are read in advance and waveform information matching pitches in the commands is read out of first memory means into second memory means, key change acceptance processing by which key changes are accepted on the basis of an input from input means, and performance processing with respect to a command already read in advance at the time of key change acceptance but not yet articulated by using the waveform information read out to the second memory means before a key change, so converting the pitch as to cause the pertinent waveform information to take on the pitch after the key change and performing the music.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
