The tines (19) are mounted on the conveyor strips (16) which rotate with the endless conveyor. They have horizontal swivel axes (25) and are pretensioned in the upright conveyor position. When the load exceeds the pretensioning force they swivel down into a conveyor-free rest position pointing away from the conveyor direction. The pretensioning force of the pretensioning springs (24) rises as the tines swivel further down so that automatic adjustment occurs. USE - To unload straw with improved emptying speeds.
