<p>A current control circuit controls the average current of an inverter circuit. A current indication circuit increases or decreases an average current value supplied to the inverter circuit with respect to a reference current so that a correlation indicated by a correlation indication circuit is obtained. This enables the shape of the speed-torque characteristics of a brushless DC motor to be set so that the torque increases as the speed increases.The speed-torque characteristics indicating that the torque increases as the speed increases are suitable for a fan drive.</p> |
