<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner plug for a liquid container capable of being used in two ways. <P>SOLUTION: The inner plug is attached to the opening of a liquid container to be used for drinking or pouring liquid. The inner plug includes: a plug body 12 that has a liquid channel 13 running inside through the top to the bottom thereof, with a lower end of the liquid channel 13 as the lower opening 14, and that has an upper opening 15 provided at the upper end of the liquid channel 13, the upper opening 15 serving as an opening for drinking to directly come into contact with the mouth and the opening for pouring a liquid; and an on/off valve 17 provided in a vertically movable manner on the plug body 12, having a removable valve member 18 provided on the lower part, and raising and pulling down the valve member 18 with and operation lever, wherein the valve member 18 can open and close the lower opening 14 while accessing from the lower side. The liquid channel 13 has a cross-sectional area few times larger than that of a straw. The upper opening 15 of the plug body has a thin and smoothly molded curved form suitable for drinking directly therefrom, and an elastic member 27 biasing the valve member in the direction of closing the lower opening is arranged over the plug body 12 outside the liquid channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
