<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a cache effectively, thereby maintaining versatility of a software module while obtaining a high performance. <P>SOLUTION: An information apparatus comprises: a data storage part 21 for storing encoded data; a cache storage part 22 which is configured to have a first cache area 221 and a second cache area 222, and can store a part of the encoded data stored in the data storage part 21; and a decoding part 13 for decoding the encoded data stored in the data storage part 21. The decoding part 13 stores header information of the encoded data and the encoded data corresponding to the header information in the first cache area or the second cache area, and accesses the header information and the encoded data stored in the first cache area and the second cache area to decode the encoded data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
