PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify a technically simple, cost efficient and high quality time synchronous data transmission method. SOLUTION: In the case that a connection between terminals is established by using an SIP server and an SIP protocol is used for establishing the connection, the method for transmitting time synchronous data, especially sound data and video data, on a network, especially the Internet, between at least two terminals is based on analysis in which the SIP server analyzes the connection and/or the terminal or the like and determines an ideal band width for optimizing transmission of the time synchronous data.
