<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having a long service life and high sealing performance hard to pass water and muddy water and restricted in contact of a first axial lip with a second axial lip. <P>SOLUTION: A surface 70 of a first axial lip 54 on a second axial lip side thereof is formed into a recessed surface. In the condition wherein the second axial lip 55 is not worn after an elastic member 51 is assembled in a slinger 52, the second axial lip 55 is not brought in contact with a fixed part 65 of the slinger 52. On the other hand, in the condition wherein the second axial lip 55 is worn at a predetermined degree or more, the second axial lip 55 is brought in contact with the fixed part 65 of the slinger 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
