PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection device capable of preventing coming off of a nut and a bolt for fixing a cable on a bicycle constituent member during transportation and eliminating a necessity of loosening the nut and bolt in an assembly process and a derailleur. SOLUTION: A cable connection device 14 is provided with a cable connection unit 70 having an opening for tightening 74 and a fastener 78 arranged in the opening for tightening. The fastener has a head part 82 and a shaft part 83, and the shaft part has a lock part 86 arranged in the opening for tightening and a screw part 90 arranged between the head part and the lock part so that a clearance 94 for receiving a cable is formed between the lock part and the head part. Furthermore, the cable connection device is provided with a fixing member 98 arranged in the lock part of the fastener to fix the fastener on a cable connection unit.
