Planar inductive angle sensor comprises a circuit- board type stator with an excitation coil and a number of receiver coils and a rotor (4). The strength of inductive coupling between the rotor and the excitation coil is used to determine its angular position. To increase sensitivity the rotor is configured as a double rotor (8) with two sections (9, 10) in between which the stator card is inserted. The invention also relates to a corresponding angular sensor.
