PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension for an automobile that has improved riding comfort by reducing the longitudinal rigidity of suspension bushes. SOLUTION: The rear ends of left and right side beams (40) are rigidly connected to a cross beam (10) extending in the vehicle width direction, and the front ends of the side beams are rigidly connected by a base beam (50). A space between the side beams is gradually increased toward the front end side, and the base beam, the left and right side beams, and the cross beam compose a plane trapezoidal shape. The front ends of the side beams or both ends of the base beam are connected to the vehicle body by suspension bushes. The left and right side beams are deformed in the direction of side force and the cross beam is deformed to be tilted at the time of turning so that the wheel on the outer wheel side turns in a toe-in direction.
