PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearable device with a module-type functional block and a method for expanding the function of the wearable device using the block that can offer new functions and new services through combinations of functional blocks according to a worn state of a detachable functional block presenting a unique function based on a strap of the wearable device as typified by a portable watch.SOLUTION: The wearable device with a module-type functional block according to one aspect of the present invention includes a plurality of functional blocks detachably fit to a strap connected to a main block of the wearable device, and at least one processing block of the main block and the functional blocks recognizes the worn state of the other functional blocks and generates application information offered by combinations of the functional blocks fit to the strap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
