PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with high mass productivity.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a counter substrate 601, a light shielding film 632, a first color filter 634, a second color filter 636, a third color filter 638, a counter electrode 640, and a spacer 642. The first color filter to the third color filter 634, 636, 638 overlap each other, and an organic layer which becomes the spacer further overlaps.
