PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of surely stripping and discharging the whole deposit of a rotary drum furnace with a simple structure without disposing deposit removing means along an inner side and an outer side of the rotary drum furnace.SOLUTION: In this method, a striking member 4 is moved down by rotating and moving a vibration member 3 together with a rotary drum furnace 1 in a state of supplying powder or granular charging material B into the rotary drum furnace 1, and brought into contact with the vibration member 3 in an axial direction of the rotary drum furnace 1 so that the vibration member 3 is vibrated. The vibration is propagated in the axial direction of the rotary drum furnace 1 from the vibration member 3 and reaches the whole in the axial direction of the rotary drum furnace 1, thus the rotary drum furnace 1 is vibrated in a thickness direction as a whole, and the charging material B attached to an inner face 1a of the rotary drum furnace 1 is separated from the whole inner face 1a and can be discharged and moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
