SYSTEM FOR DEVELOPING DATA COLLECTION SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS

A software system for developing new computer-based data collection applications which enables an end user to create custom data collection applications without the assistance of a programmer or other software professionals. The system is capable of using a predefined software structure, pre-existing templates when desired, and other system attributes (18), with input instructions from an end user (10), to produce new data collection applications with defined data fields and data storage (30), defined data collection methodology (20), multiple level rules governing the application and defined calculations (24).
