Provided is a semiconductor laser device comprising: a semiconductor laser array that has a plurality of semiconductor laser elements; a semiconductor arrayed waveguide grating that comprises a semiconductor and has an input-side slab waveguide connected to the plurality of semiconductor laser elements, an arrayed waveguide connected to the input-side slab waveguide and comprising a plurality of waveguides arranged in parallel and having lengths different from one another, and an output-side slab waveguide connected to the arrayed waveguide, wherein the semiconductor laser array and the semiconductor arrayed waveguide grating are integrated monolithically on the same substrate; and a semiconductor optical integrated element that outputs a laser beam oscillated by the semiconductor laser elements from an output terminal face. The terminal face of the semiconductor optical integrated element comprises an output terminal of the output-side slab waveguide.
