PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust an initial color shift correction mode by turning on a color shift correction start switch without individually executing the initial color shift correction mode by a serviceman.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 that includes an intermediate transfer belt 11, is provided with: a color sensor that detects formation distances of toner images on an intermediate transfer belt; an LED head skew adjustment means for adjusting a deviation of inclination between LED heads; a main scanning direction LED head joint adjustment means for adjusting the deviation in a joint between the LED heads in the main scanning direction; a sub scanning direction LED head joint adjustment means for adjusting the deviation in a joint between the LED heads in a sub-scanning direction; a main scanning direction color registration adjustment means for adjusting the deviation between the main scanning direction of the LED heads; a sub-scanning direction color registration adjustment means for adjusting the deviation in the sub-scanning direction between the LED heads; and an operation switch, and is provided with an adjustment execution means that sequentially executes each adjustment means. |
