DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DESIGNATING CHARACTERISTIC POINTS

The invention discloses a flying device used to designate/mark characteristic points on a surface. The flying device uses a laser beam to designate the said characteristic points and possibly mark them. Alternatively, the laser beam may be used to designate and an operator on the ground may mark them with paint or otherwise. The points to be designated may be entered in a flight plan. The flying device is precisely positioned using for instance a GNSS positioning receiver. An imaging device may be used to aid or replace the receiver.
