An OLED pixel circuit, a display device and a control method. The OLED pixel circuit comprises: an organic light emitting diode (OLED); a drive transistor (Tdriver); a first switch unit (T1) which connects a data signal output terminal and a gate of the drive transistor (Tdriver); a second switch unit (T2) which connects a power signal output terminal and a source of the drive transistor (Tdriver); a compensation circuit which is connected to the gate of the drive transistor (Tdriver) for maintaining a gate voltage of the drive transistor (Tdriver) at a light-emitting stage, so that current flowing through the organic light emitting diode (OLED) is irrelevant to a threshold voltage of the drive transistor (Tdriver); and a reference signal generation module for generating, according to the current threshold voltage of the drive transistor (Tdriver), a reference signal (Vref) for use by the compensation circuit, wherein the voltage of the reference signal (Vref) and the threshold voltage satisfy at least one of the effective conditions that make the compensation circuit effective.
