<p>A twin conical screw extruder comprises two conically threaded rotors 1A,1B in a conical housing 5. The axes of the rotors converge toward their tips, adjacent the outlet 7 of the housing. The tips are each provided with a resilient pressurizing member 11A,11B. These bear on each other to urge the rotors apart, thereby enabling them to resist the force directing them further apart exerted by material being extruded. <IMAGE></p> |
