PURPOSE: To precisely adjust an alignment member by fixing an adjusting member disposed in a bore in the axial direction of a plate cylinder, by means of the motion of an eccentric bolt. CONSTITUTION: The invention relates to a device for the aligning of printing plates on a printing plate cylinder for a rotary printing press. At least one bore 16 extends through the printing plate cylinder in an axial direction. A movable actuating shaft 26 is disposed in the bore 16. A plurality of ring-shaped tensioning and adjustment members which are spaced apart from one another are located in the shaft 26. The adjustment members 36 have movable aligning members/register pins. For at least one adjustment member, an eccentric pin extends between the adjustment element and the register pin. The eccentric pin is rotatable to move the register pin along the adjustment member.
