PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide performance equivalent to a characteristic IC by connecting the first sequential port of a programmable processor to a sequential communication equipment and providing a second sequential port. SOLUTION: A port arbitrator 234 is connected to the sequential port of the programmable processor 201 and the sequential communication equipments 236, 238 and 240 are respectively connected to the port arbitrator on plural lines. Input from first and second sequential communication equipments 236 and 238 is monitored, the start of a communication session is decided by one of the sequential communication equipments 236 and 238 in the case that activity is present in the input and the first sequential port of the programmable processor 201 is connected to the sequential communication equipments 236 and 238 which start the communication session first. At this point, the second sequential port suited to one of a multi-drop bus interface and a VCCS bus interface is provided so as to respectively connect the programmable processor to a multi-drop bus or a VCCS bus. |
