PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital still camera(DSC) or a portable terminal with which trouble for respectively separately operating respective instruments can be reduced when simultaneously carrying the DSC and the portable terminal, especially, when transmitting an image photographed by the DSC. SOLUTION: When prescribed operation is performed, at a DSC 50, a control code is transmitted form an IrDA control part 74 or an RS-232C control part 76 to a simplified digital cordless telephone system(PHS) terminal 10 side and call originating operation or image data transmitting operation is enabled. Then, a status code showing the operating state or line connecting state of PHS terminal 10 is transmitted to the side of DSC 50. According to this status code, prescribed display is performed at the DSC 50. |
