<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing alkoxy magnesium by which a solid catalyst component suitable for manufacturing a polymer with a high bulk density and a low fine powder concentration is obtained without impairing stereoregularity or polymerization activity, a method for manufacturing a solid catalyst component for polymerizing olefins using the alkoxy magnesium, and a catalyst therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In a method, in which magnesium metal and an alcohol ROH (wherein R is an alkyl group with a carbon number 1 to 12) react, for preparing alkoxy magnesium used for manufacturing a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, the reaction is performed under the presence of a halogen-containing titanium compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
