ANTENNA ELEMENT ATTACHING STRUCTURE

An antenna element attaching structure adapted to prevent the antenna element from being detached from the antenna base. The front end of an engaging extension (13a) provided at the lower end of the element base (12) of the antenna element and extending from the lower end of an element attaching screw (13) is provided with a diametrically enlarged taper projection (13b). When the threaded portion (13e) of the element base (12) is threadedly engaged in a hot metal fixture (20), the taper projection (13b) passes through a bushing nut (22) to engage the latter. This prevents the antenna element from being inadvertently detached from the antenna cover (3a) of the antenna base. The bushing nut (22) is fixed in the antenna attaching section (10) freely by the hot metal fixture (20) and a fixing metal piece (21).
