<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a variation in gate potential of a drive transistor. <P>SOLUTION: A transistor Tr1 becomes on state in a reset period, and the drive transistor Tdr is diode connected. Also, a transistor Tr4 becomes on state. At this time, the current flows from the drive transistor Tdr into a feeder 17. Since the feeder 17 is arranged in parallel to a control line, such as a scanning line 121, a light emission period and a reset period change over in a row unit.
