PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent a printout from being taken away by mistake by another user.SOLUTION: When a reception section (network I/F section 603) receives print data, with respect to a sheet discharge part 10 to which a printout will be discharged when a print job is executed for the print data received by the reception section, a judgment section 505 determines whether or not a detection part 11 is outputting a detection signal. When determined that the detection part 11 is outputting the detection signal, a job control section 507 inhibits a printing part 100 from executing the print job for the print data received by the reception section and stores the print date into a storage section (saving box 503). An operation part 400 accepts an instruction to print for an image represented by the print data stored in the storage section. When the instruction is input on the operation part 400, the job control section 507 makes the printing part 100 execute a print job for the print data stored in the storage section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
