PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program that enable a user to easily perform framing.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an information processing apparatus determines whether an image area that is seemingly characters is highly likely to be detected from an image to be acquired on the basis of a deterioration evaluation value indicating the degree of deterioration of the image. When determining that the image area that is seemingly characters is highly likely to be detected from the image to be acquired, the information processing apparatus outputs a first trigger to execute processing for detecting the image area, and when determining that the image area is not likely to be detected, outputs a command for displaying the image as it is on a display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
