PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably perform control of settlement of a caisson skeleton and vibration suppression by dispensing with member replacement each time the caisson skeleton is settled, in a pneumatic caisson method for hard ground.SOLUTION: This device M includes a saddle body 1, and a protrusion 2 which is protruded downward on the bottom surface of the saddle body 1 and which can penetrate ground by being subjected to an impact load during settlement of a caisson skeleton A. The protrusion 2 is inserted into the ground, and the saddle body 1 is installed on the ground. Subsequently, the ground is excavated, and the caisson skeleton A is settled by loosening the ground around the bottom surface of the saddle body 1. In this case, the protrusion 2 penetrates the ground, and the ground is held by the bottom surface of the saddle body 1. |
