<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor display device capable of bringing three color elements including R, G and B elements into more suitable interference conditions while making the same thickness among layers which need not inherently be painted in separate colors as charge transport layers. <P>SOLUTION: The multicolor display device has the same thickness between a reflection position of a reflector of three color elements of R, G and B and an organic light-emitting layer. An organic light-emitting layer 106R of the R element and an organic light-emitting layer 106B of the B element are both electron-transportable. An organic light-emitting layer 106G of the G element is hole-transportable. An optic distance L between the reflection position of the reflector in the three color light-emitting elements and a light emission position of the organic light-emitting layer is expressed as 0.25×λ<SB>R</SB><L<0.75×λ<SB>B</SB>(where λ<SB>R</SB>and λ<SB>B</SB>are peak wavelengths of light-emitting spectra of a red light-emitting element and a blue light-emitting element, respectively). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
