METHOD FOR INDICATING NUMBER OF SHORT MESSAGES TRANSMITTED FROM MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for indicating the number of short messages transmitted from a mobile terminal is provided to allow a user to be informed of a charge according to SMS message transmission by recognizing the number of SMS messages transmitted from his/her mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A controller of a mobile terminal completes an SMS message by a user(110). The controller detects whether the user transmits the SMS message as created(120). If the user transmits the SMS message, the controller counts a value corresponding to a memory unit storing the number of transmitted SMS messages(130). The controller determines whether the user selects a menu indicating the number of the transmitted SMS messages through a key input unit(140). If the user selects the menu indicating the number of SMS messages, the controller displays the number of transmitted SMS messages on a display unit(150).
