<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a block for guiding a visually disabled person, superior in an aesthetic appearance and weatherability, without deteriorating a color and design according to use. <P>SOLUTION: A coloring layer is formed on a back face of a block body formed of a transparent glass pane having a projection on an upper surface. The coloring layer applied to the back face is seen through a block surface, and the peculiar design effect is performed, and there is no risk of deteriorating design such as the coloring layer peels off. This coloring layer is covered with a metallic plate, and when preventing water from entering into the coloring layer by sealing the periphery of the metallic plate by a sealant, the deterioration of the coloring layer can be further prevented. This block body can be easily molded by heating and holding plate glass to a softening point or more, by placing the plate glass on a bottom surface of a box-shaped mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
