An artificial bank for coastal wetland restoration and a coastal wetland restoration method using the same are provided to minimize the loss of seeds or sprouting buds inside a bank and to improve the settlement rate drastically. A coastal wetland restoration method using an artificial bank comprises the steps of sowing, vegetating or transplanting seeds or grouting buds of one or more kinds of salt plants in a coastal wetland, and installing a pack type artificial bank(1) composed of one or more than two packs filled with sand or silt of a coastal wetland and sealed hermetically, as a pack type artificial bank for catching seeds or grouting buds of salt plants moving together with seawater retreating toward the sea, on the bottom of a coastal wetland in seawater at low tide.
