PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator that attenuates unnecessary spurious vibration; an oscillator provided with the vibrator; an electronic apparatus; and a movable body.SOLUTION: An SC cut crystal vibrator 100 that acts as a vibrator is provided with: an SC cut crystal vibration piece 10 that is supported at one point by a supporting section 36, vibrates by thickness slip vibration, and acts as a plate-like vibration piece; and excitation electrodes 12a and 12b provided on both surfaces of the SC cut crystal vibration piece 10. A resin 20 is attached to a portion that is in the outside of the excitation electrodes 12a and 12b and is in a peripheral portion 16 of the SC cut crystal vibration piece 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
