<p>PURPOSE:To hold a tape cassette securely in place and protect it perfectly from external shocks by attaching a low elastic rubber made cushioning member provided with a cassette detachment preventing part to each of the corners of a cassette receiving part. CONSTITUTION:In a tape cassette case 1 provided with a case body 2 and a lid 4 having one side edge swingingly attached to the case body by hinges 3 and with a cassette receiving part 5 consisting of receiving recess parts 6 and 7 for receiving therein a tape cassette T in the cooperation of the case body 2 and the lid 4 when they meet, a cushioning member 20 is attached to each corner of the receiving recess parts 6 and 7 to receive the four corners of the tape cassette T. The cushioning material 20 is made of a low elastic rubber material and provided with a cassette detachment preventing part 22 having a cylindrical part 24 at the end of a projection extending from the rear face of a cassette supporting part 21 on the opposed side from its supporting step part 23. By this method, each of the four corners of the tape cassette T is supported securely.</p> |
