PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of uniformly coating, without effecting undesirable influence to photographic characteristics by incorporating a specific surfactant having two lipohilic groups to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises at least one layer of a hydrophilic colloid layer on a substrate body. The surfactant which has a satd. or an unsatd. hydrocarbon chain having >=4 C an branched chain and/or a partical structure shown by formula I is incorporated to at least one layer of the hydrophilic colloid layer or said layer contg. a polymer latex. In the formula I, R1 and R2 are each 4-25C a satd. or an unsatd. hydrocarbon group, A is a trivalent binding group. Thus, the titled material which enables to form the uniform coating film of the hydrophilic colloid layer and affects no undesirable influence to the photographic characteristics is obtd. |
