PURPOSE: Material for fabricating building materials or formed products is provided which comprises a mixture of a thermoplastic material and a rubber material by extrusion molding. CONSTITUTION: Material for building materials or formed products contains a thermoplastic material and a rubber material, in the form of discrete particles combined together mechanically and/or by heat and/or radiation, and the material is formed by melting extrusion. The rubber material comprises rough rubber powder, and the thermoplastic material is in the form of powder such as polyethylene. The material is produced for roofing sheets having excellent chemical and physical properties. |
