INDUCTION HEATING ROLLER APPARATUS, FIXING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS

An induction heating roller apparatus, a fixing apparatus and an image forming apparatus are provided to make it possible to set a plurality of heating regions selectively to an axis direction of a heating roller. An induction coil apparatus(IC) is magnetically coupled to a heating roller(HR). A radio frequency power supplies electric power to the induction coil apparatus. The heating roller emits heat by induced current and can be switched to a plurality of heating regions(A,B) according to the size of a heated object. The induction coil apparatus faces with the heating regions of the heating roller and includes a plurality of induction coils(IC1,IC2) which are magnetically coupled to each other, arranged so that the induced current is generated at the heating regions and adjacent with each other by the first interval. Each of the induction coils has a plurality of coil turns wound closely to each other.
