A wet air cleaner is provided to clean a large amount of air by use of an exhaust fan in the electric precipitation system for generating anions. In the wet air cleaner, a free filtering portion and an exhaust fan are respectively installed at the inlet and outlet. The wet air cleaner includes a housing(10), a high-voltage terminal member(30) for generating anions, and a charging case(40). The housing divides a free-filter receiving portion(11) and an exhaust-fan receiving portion(12) with a vertical partition having an open hole(13) in the lower part. The charging case has a charging net(42) for charging, and holds a sponge(41) for receiving water.
