<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor for which the productivity can be improved, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The resistor is provided with resistor body 11 made of a metal plate, and a pair of electrodes 12 provided on both ends of the resistor body 11 and made from a low-temperature baking conductive paste. According to this configuration, since formation of an electrode by printing the low-temperature baking conductive paste can easily increase the thickness of the electrode, the electrode having a low resistivity can be provided in a short time.
