<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a heat pipe capable of keeping a smooth surface even after applying a deformation processing such as flattening processing and bending processing, and hereby preventing deterioration of heat transfer performance of the heat pipe itself. SOLUTION: Once a circular cross section heat pipe 1 is held between a pair of flattening molds 41A and 41B, internal pressure of the heat pipe 1 is raised. A flattening processing of the heat pipe 1 is performed by pressing the flattening molds 41A and 41B against the heat pipe 1. A smooth surface is kept by performing the deformation processing of the heat pipe 1 in the state where internal pressure is applied.</p> |
