PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a trouble due to a curve of a recording medium compared with a case where post-processing is performed after a recording medium after fixing is immediately ejected through a curved conveyance path.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an image forming part 9 that forms a toner image on a recording sheet 5; a fixing device 40 that heats the toner image formed on the recording sheet 5 by the image forming part 9 to fix the toner image; a sheet ejection part 62 that ejects the recording sheet 5 to which the toner image has been fixed by the fixing device 40 through a curved conveyance path 62a; a double-side conveyance device 65 that conveys the recording sheet 5 to which the toner image has been fixed by the fixing device 40 to the image forming part 9 while reversing the front and back of the recording sheet; and an MCU that, when post-processing by a post-processing device 2 is designated on the recording sheet 5 to which the toner image has been fixed by the fixing device 40, switches an ejection route for the recording sheet 5 to an ejection route through the double-side conveyance device 65, and decreases the temperature of the fixing device 40 compared with that during the fixing of the toner image or stops the heating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
