<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fit a roof panel to a ridge beam and reduce the driving number of fixing nails by using ridge metal fittings provided with a pair of fixing plates for the roof panel and fixing plates for the ridge beam. SOLUTION: Fixing plates 11, 11 for a roof panel are provided at the upper right and left sides of a connection plate 13 and fixing plates 12, 12 for a ridge beam are provided at the lower right and left sides to constitute the ridge metal fittings 1. A wooden ridge beam 2 is fitted between the fixing plates 12, 12 of the ridge metal fittings 1 and the ridge metal fittings 1 is fixed to the ridge beam 2 by driving nails. Wooden upper frames 31, 31 of the right and left roof panels 3, 3 are fitted between the fixing plates 11, 11 to temporarily support the roof panels 3, 3 and fix the panels to the fixing plates 11, 11 by driving nails. In this way, the roof panels 3, 3 can be easily fixed to the ridge beam 2. Further, since the driving direction of fixing nails is orthogonal to the roofing direction of the roof panels, as compared with the conventional method in which both directions are the same, the driving number of fixing nails can be reduced, while securing the same fixing strength with the conventional case.</p> |
