PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having good operability without impairing flexibility of the rod while effectively preventing entangling of fishline to the rod. SOLUTION: In this yarn guide apparatus for a fishing rod in which plural fishline guide bodies are arranged at predetermined intervals on the outer surface of fishing rod between a top guide 4 attached to the tip of the fishing rod and a reel attached to the base part of the fishing rod, a yarn guide cylindrical body 2 is installed between yarn guide rings 5 and 7 of the top guide 4 and the fishline guide body 6 adjacent to the top guide 4 or between yarn guide rings of the adjacent fishline guide bodies. These yarn guide rings 5 and 7 of the fishline guide bodies are constituted so as to be movable together with the yarn guide cylindrical body 2 according to flexion of the fishing rod.
