<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to successfully hear sound reproduced by a sound system regardless of a frequency band, in the sound system compressing and amplifying a dynamic range of a sound signal input from audio equipment by an externally set compression ratio and amplification factor and outputting the dynamic range. <P>SOLUTION: A sound processing part 10 sets the compression ratio of the dynamic range referred to at the time of compression of a sound signal with respect to each frequency band, such that a sound level indicating the amplitude of sound output from a speaker 23 exceeds each noise level detected by a vehicle interior noise acquiring process with respect to each divided frequency band; compresses the dynamic range of the sound signal input from the audio equipment by the set compression ratio; and outputs the sound signal after the compression. The sound signal output from the sound processing part 10 is output toward inside of a specific region as sound while amplified, via an amplifier 21 and the speaker 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
