PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of increasing retaining force between a pipe body part and a cap while suppressing breakage in insertion of the cap into the pipe body part and a decrease in compactness.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 comprises a pipe body part 10 and a cylindrical cap 20, and has a first engagement projection part 101 and a second engagement projection part 102 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the pipe body part and a first engagement recessed part 201 and a second engagement recessed part 202, engaging with the first engagement projection part and second engagement projection part, formed on an inner peripheral surface of the cap, wherein outer peripheral surfaces of the first engagement projection part and second engagement projection part have diameter-increased surface parts 101a, 102a each increased in diameter gradually from an end on a first axial side to a second axial side, and an angle α of an axial acute-angle side of a segment connecting both axial ends of a diameter-increased surface part of the first engagement projection part on a cross section along an axial direction is smaller than an angle β of an axial acute-angle side of a segment connecting both axial ends of a diameter-increased surface part of the second engagement projection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
