PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of improving taste of a jackpot game by varying a progress of the jackpot game and causing a player to have interest in a progress of a jackpot.SOLUTION: A special game state includes: a first special game state in which a total of open state periods of a variable winning device set in respective round games are set to a first predetermined period; and a plurality of types of second special game states, in which the total of the open state periods is set to a second predetermined period longer than the first predetermined period, and a predetermined number of round games are executed, and that have different second predetermined periods respectively. Performance control means includes start notification means for notifying of a start of the special game state, and open-state period notification means that executes a notification related to the open state period of a subsequent round game in a preceding round game of the second special game state. The start notification means executes similar notifications when starting the first special game state and the second special game state.
