Disclosed are a random access method, a node and a system. The method comprises a base station sending random access configuration information to a user equipment via a downlink channel. The random access configuration information comprises at least one of the following: configuration information about a time-frequency resource occupied by a random access channel; configuration information about a random access sequence; and configuration information about the number of times random access signalling corresponding to each level is repeatedly sent. The random access configuration information is used for instructing the user equipment to randomly access a network according to the random access configuration information.
